Jungfer on a regional level

Through the expertise of our employees, our partners and our suppliers, we have become one of the leading web offset printshops in Germany since our company was first founded. We’re immensely proud of the fact that we're doing this here, in Herzberg am Harz.

Our heart lies in Harz

Herzberg and Osterode are not only situated in a beautiful part of our country, but they are also important locations for Germany's graphic arts industry with tremendous potential for the creation of added value. This is where our roots are, and it is from here that we continuously deliver peak performance in order to successfully serve Europe's demanding markets.

Regional commitment
Jungfer actively supports the "MEKOM Regionalmanagement Osterode am Harz" association, which promotes exchange and collaboration in the four clusters of Automotive and Synthetics, Education, Printing and Technology between companies, administrative bodies and educational facilities. In the MEKOM Printing network, which was established in 2009 following an initiative by Roger Mellinghausen by the leading graphics companies in the Osterode district, our trainees benefit from the "Trainees for Trainees" initiative, a supplementary educational initiative that is the only one of its kind in Germany. Of course, we also work closely with schools in the region and regularly offer places for work experience students. We are actively involved in entry-level training measures in the regional transition management (RÜM) and regularly provide information in the context of careers information days about training and career opportunities.

More than just business
A strong location for strong business - the Harz region has plenty to offer. A unique low mountain range with a diverse flora and fauna, extensive forests, deep valleys and unpolluted rivers. In this region, we have supported the Harz National Park for many years, and in particular the pioneering project to return the lynx to the area.

National Park Harz calendar 2013.
Fascinating nature - captured in unusual and inspirational images. This is the trademark of the National Park calendar, which was first produced a few years ago on the initiative and with the support of Jungfer.

Thanks to masterly snapshots taken by outstanding photographers, every month offers a breathtaking glimpse of the wonderful flora and fauna that the Harz region has to offer.

The third edition of the calendar is now being produced for 2013. It will soon be available to order directly via our website or from the National Park 'TorfHaus' Visitor Centre via post[at]torfhaus.info
